About E-Tales
E-Tales is a compact, ambitious digital commerce partner with around 20 employees. We operate independently, but since 2024 we are part of Bunzl Continental Europe Online. This is an international group of diverse distribution companies, with a total turnover of more than 13 billion euros, listed on the LSE.

What you will do
- Design and build scalable solutions for high volumes of users and interactions
- Think along on platform transitions and stack choices
- Actively contribute to architecture discussions
- Code reviews at a high level
- Structurally improve performance and stability
- Reduce technical debt
- Spar with the Tech Lead and management on technical direction
What we are looking for
- At least 5 years of experience in full stack development
- Demonstrable experience with systems and architecture
- Strong in backend, with frontend as a solid baseline
- Understanding of scalability, performance and security
- You can explain technical choices to non-technical stakeholders
Nice to have
- Magento experience
- DevOps experience (CI/CD, containerisation, cloud etc.)
- Experience with platform transitions
- Experience in B2B commerce
- AI integrations or an interest in AI applications
